Queensland 1 shilling specimen and cancelled examples

The known examples for this value are:
  • SG 171, 1 shilling violet, a diagonally up specimen handstamp in black, size 21 x 2.5 mm in plain capitals
  • SG 174, 1 shilling pale-mauve, a diagonally up specimen handstamp in blue, size 21 x 2.5 mm in plain capitals
  • SG 173, 1 shilling mauve and pale violet, a horizontal specimen handstamp in black, size 15 x 2 mm in plain capitals (SCudder type 3)

Listed as SG 173, no gum, but most probably SG 174. Seen on the Internet
